WHAT IS HYPNOTHERAPY AND ITS BENEFITS?

Hypnosis is a totally natural state of mind. When under hypnosis you will feel very relaxed, just like that wonderful feeling when you are tired lying in your bed and you are so overcome with comfort that you wish the moment could last forever.

Your mind is more open to suggestions when in this state, and with the help of a trained hypnotherapist you can make changes in your beliefs and behaviour for the benefit of your health, and become happier, more confident, a non-smoker, – Whatever you want to be!

Hypnotherapy is a two way process between the therapist and the client. A person cannot be hypnotised unless he or she agrees and co-operates – this cannot be stressed enough. During the session, the trance like state is aided by the voice of the hypnotherapist. By focusing on the therapist’s voice it is easier for you to ignore any other distractions around you, only if you choose to.

Since 1955 hypnosis has been accepted as a valid therapeutic technique by the British Medical Association.

WHAT DOES YOUR SESSION ENTAIL?

At the first stage of a hypnotherapy consultation I will have an informal chat to ascertain the nature of the issue and the necessary route to overcoming or dealing with it. I am a trained Hypnotherapist and NLP Master Practitioner and have found that using the two therapies combined are effective and offer lasting changes.
